As the Chief Technology Officer of this company, it is my responsibility to keep you updated on news related to information technology. With the upcoming release of Project Natal, this should increase potential sales of XBOX hardware and software that we currently have in our inventory. This is the next big thing compared to Nintendo's Wii for interactive gaming and based on the numbe of units sold for that console, I believe Project Natal will have a significant influence for profit especially during the holiday season.

In 2009, Microsoft earned 58.4 billion in total with only 3 billion in online services. According to Tech Flash, they project Microsoft will earn an additional 2.3 billion in 2010 with another 1.7 billion in 2011.

This translates directly to us since we are expecting a considerable amount of inventory during the time of release. I will be working with the marketing and advertising department to come up with specific ways of promoting the release. If it becomes successful, you should see bonuses in your paycheck come the end of January :)
